Chicago Humanists

Let’s do good without a god, together.

The Chicago Humanists are a welcoming community committed to anti-racism, gender equality, the embrace of science and reason, social justice and the right to love and marry whomever you want. We believe that religious freedom includes the right to not believe at all.

We work to uphold human rights and civil liberties in an open, secular society without discrimination for religious reasons.

We promote secular Humanism in Chicago as a progressive life stance, affirming our responsibility to lead ethical lives of personal fulfillment that aspire to the greater good. We believe in being good without a god.
